Our Team.
Our highly skilled, multi-disciplinary insurance team has over 90 years of combined in depth risk management, underwriting, engineering, and legal experience with space programs.

Richard Parker
Richard has 25 years’ experience in the space industry.  For the past seven years, Richard served as a senior underwriter for a space insurance company, where he was responsible for the technical aspects of all space underwriting activities, and played a leading role in actuarial analysis, policy negotiation, claim evaluation and portfolio management.  Prior to that, he served in various capacities at satellite manufacturer EADS Astrium and satellite operator Intelsat, where his responsibilities ranged from platform design, payload integration and customer interface for spacecraft and launch vehicles.  He has broad experience in the design, manufacture and test of satellites, and has extensive knowledge of the business and financial aspects of satellite industry.  

Jean-Michel Eid
Jean Michel has been in the forefront of space-related risk management for most of his career, having held senior management positions at Arianespace, Corroon & Black Inspace, International Space Brokers and AON Space. In all, he has been integrally involved in more than 90 risk management / insurance programs with established companies including GE, Motorola, Iridium, SPI, MCI, Hispasat and Telecom Mexico, as well as non-traditional space risks for Space Tourism, Mars Missions, orbital recovery programs and the funding for the X-Prize. 

Bruce Kraselsky
Bruce has more than 25 years of experience in the space and telecom industry as an entrepreneur, lawyer, and risk manager. He played a key role as a lawyer at the US Department of Commerce in establishing US commercial space policy including Government use of commercial space facilities and services.  His risk management experience includes consulting work with established companies and previously serving as VP and General Counsel of Corroon & Black Inspace, who at the time were one of the top three space insurance brokerages in the world.

Robert Mazer
Robert has more than 25 years of experience in the space and telecom sector, including serving as a partner for 17 years at Vinson & Elkins, a major international law firm, as well as a number of years before that as a lawyer in the Satellite Radio Branch of the FCC.  He has worked on numerous transactions both as a lawyer and a serial entrepreneur.
